As noted Leon Ware was the producer & architect of one of Marvin Gaye's finest lp/cds, "I WANT YOU", which sulpoecostofinru.chlornelnimorosimimenttenbijavig.infoinfo composed & produced, for the most part. I imagine soon, some of the new wave of young "Brasilianists" will soon check this cd out-- current FAVORITE of the "world music club scene" Marcos Valle was a collaborator with Ware in the /5(6).

Nov 03,  · This is the follow-up to 's much loved Rockin' You Eternally. While that effort had Ware engaged and willing to do rich and melodic work with no commercial consideration, Leon Ware more often than not seems to be overly concerned with making a big hit. Leon Ware was co-produced by Ware and the legendary Marty Paich.

Leon Ware's self-titled album has long been a holy grail for rare groove record collectors. Indeed, mint copies are rarely found for less than £ So Be With Records, a new vinyl-only reissue label, is pleased to mark its first release with Ware's classic – a set that features the timeless Why I Came To California, a beautiful example.

In fact, Leon Ware employs some of the same players and writers from that effort. The oddly peppy "Lost in Love With You" was no doubt aiming for the charts but it possesses little or nothing of what makes Ware musically special.6/
